RES is looking for a Field Technician II to join our team. As a Field Technician II at RES, you'll play a key role in keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently across a variety of environmental restoration and construction projects. You'll diagnose and repair heavy equipment in the field, lead equipment inspections, and help train crew members on safety and maintenance protocols. This is a great role for a mid-level technician who thrives outdoors, takes pride in high-quality work, and is eager to build their expertise.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Trade school certification or manufacturer-specific repair certification.
  • Intermediate proficiency in diagnostic tools and interpreting system errors.
  • Working knowledge of equipment maintenance schedules, fluids, and safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Experience in restoration, civil construction, or other field-based environments.
  • Certified Welder.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to job sites to diagnose and repair equipment in real-world conditions.
  • Lead equipment inspections and train crew members on safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Perform necessary repairs on-site, including troubleshooting hydraulic issues.
  • Balance repair work with equipment monitoring and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and set the standard for safety and quality on the crew.
