About The Position

The Field Technician C position at L3Harris Technologies involves providing support for telecommunications systems and equipment primarily for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado areas. This role requires a strong background in installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems, along with proficiency in network and computer support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• 2-4 years of Telecommunications and/or Network Engineering experience.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Wireless, A+ certifications.
• Ability to work from home in an 'on-call' status.
• Capable of lifting 70 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time to remote sites.
• Ability to work outside regular hours for operational needs and emergency calls.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, configure, test, and perform preventative maintenance on network and telecommunications equipment.
• Maintain records on repairs, downtime, changes, and updates.
• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, and network issues to end-users.
• Perform basic software troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Serve as the point of contact for unresolved problems from the Help Desk or NOC.
