About The Position

The Field Tech Support Manager will provide technical expertise and support all activities in the specialized fields of substation apparatus, protection and control equipment or communications equipment. This role acts as an expert to personnel in a specialized field to investigate and resolve problem situations or complex issues. The manager will facilitate internal training for substation journeyman, relay technicians or communications technicians, and will research, analyze, develop, and implement new programs, systems and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions. Additionally, the manager will develop and maintain operational and procedural documentation, establish and implement business objectives, strategies, and plans, and support company programs and policies.
