Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline construction, installation, maintenance, and removal work on transmission and distribution pipelines.
• Load, unload, and operate tools and equipment including pipe and crescent wrenches, pipe cutters and threaders, hammers and screwdrivers, picks, shovels, and rakes, air compressors and generators, plastic fusion irons, jackhammers and concrete saws, booms and chains, mini and large backhoe, combustible gas indicators, tap equipment, no blow equipment, forklift, respirators, and oxygen analyzer.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment including washing truck and equipment, fueling truck and checking fluid levels, applying lubricants, changing oil and filters, and cleaning/adjusting tools.
• Investigate customer-related orders and emergency situations including low pressure calls, class 1 leaks, blow lines, fires/explosions, and undetectable lines.
