About The Position

As a Field Team Lead at Global Asset, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient pickup, delivery, and installation of technology equipment. No IT experience is necessary, and we will train the right motivated individual on our technical requirements. As a member of our resource pool, you will regularly be assigned your own truck to drive or paired with other team members on projects. Our projects include the pickup of new or used technology equipment, the delivery and installation of new technology equipment, and ad hoc projects such as moving/storage of technology equipment. General warehouse duties and cleanliness, regularly lifting over 25 lbs., apply. This will include stacking/wrapping pallets, unboxing equipment, utilizing pallet jacks, and using forklifts at times. Forklift certification will be a requirement; however, we will train and certify. Careful inventory management and concern surrounding proper inventory control will be a requirement. You must possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail to be successful. The bulk of duties consists of staging, production, pickup/delivery, and installation of computer/AV hardware. The candidate will spend their day as a part of the Global team in any number of roles that further the above objectives. Requirements

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING a 26ft BOX TRUCK WITH A LIFTGATE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Bilingual is a plus.
Must possess a strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skill set. Inventory management is paramount to success.
Must execute near-perfect inventory control, including accurate counts, sign-offs, transfers, receipts, etc.
Strong time management skills. Must know when to ask for help versus increasing pace to execute deliverables always on time.
Route planning experience and execution, always meeting customer timelines.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily quotas.
Self-motivated and desiring advancement.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a MUST.
Minimum of 2 years of deployment, installation, and/or delivery or related experience. This is not an entry-level logistics position. We will train on all necessary technical requirements; however, you must already be proficient in driving and logistics.
Must be able to travel and stay overnight for extended periods of time, as needed.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Work and excel as a member of a Global Asset Field/ logistics team. The pace is rigorous! You will be expected to strive to keep up. You must possess an overdrive. If the idea of staying in shape through what you do for a living does not appeal to you this is not for you. If you thrive from winning and crushing challenges, then this is for you. Team members typically meet early in the morning to load trucks and perform last minute checks before heading to the customer site. Once there we follow a pre-determined scope of work and execute. Tasks include safe truck operation/responsibility, loading/unloading trucks, careful transfer of items into/out of the customer environment, installation which may include hardware set up, cable management, hanging/mounting hardware, basic networking, legacy hardware de-installation, trash management, face to face customer service, etc.
Lead and inspire a team of field professionals. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
Manage day-to-day field operations. Ensure efficient deployment of resources, adherence to schedules, and high-quality execution of tasks.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients. Address client concerns promptly and ensure a high level of satisfaction with field services.
Be a safety advocate. Enforce protocols, ensuring every team member adheres to safety guidelines. Proactively create a secure working environment for all.
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, whether it's at the customer site, in the company vehicle, or in the warehouse. Your attention to detail contributes to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement. Actively participate in training programs to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
Work and excel in our warehouse environment learning to properly prepare devices for our production environment. Tasks include unboxing, safely stacking/packaging, critical inventory functions such as scanning as well as ensuring accurate transfers, and kitting.
Work and excel in our production environment learning to image laptops/desktops/tablets, operate etching equipment, enroll tablets, and chrome devices, assemble and wire charging carts, assemble AV stands, and other related tasks pertaining to pre-installation.
