About The Position

We are currently looking to add a motivated Survey Crew Chief to our passionate team of Civil Engineering and Surveying professionals. Responsible for all aspects of survey related field operation for residential and commercial land development projects, stream and environmental restoration projects and various utility projects.

Requirements

Must be client focused and team oriented.
Must have a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Must have good time management skills and be able to manage multiple projects at any given time.
Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
High school or equivalent minimum.
8-10 years of full-time crew chief work experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Problem Solving.
Ability to make independent decisions based on sound surveying judgement and past experience.
Ability to apply knowledge to a variety of assignments.
Technical Capacity.
Knowledge of current surveying technologies including conventional surveying instruments and GNSS equipment.
Communication Proficiency.
Ability to provide guidance to junior-level staff on objectives, critical issues and concepts.
Ability to interact with internal staff and customers as needed on project related issues.
Will work with junior level surveyors, interns or technicians.
Operate and maintain company provided survey vehicle.
Vehicle may be provided for transportation to and from home/work after grace period.
