About The Position

The Field Support Technician Associate, under direct supervision, is responsible for assisting with new device installation and providing general support assistance with client-side desktop technology. GENERAL DUTIES Operational Support and Maintenance: Utilizes tools and equipment required to image, update, and support end-user desktop hardware. Installs desktop hardware and software on to the corporate network and directory infrastructure as defined by corporate policies and procedures. Performs routine maintenance and installation of hardware and software to end-user desktop devices in a timely manner. Maintains strict monitoring, administration, documentation, and escalation (as required) of assigned service tickets ensuring defined SLAs are maintained. Remains compliant by ensuring timely and accurate information supporting moves, adds, changes of deployed hardware is updated in the asset management inventory system. Project Support: Assists with deployment of new end-user desktop hardware. Other duties as required: Participates in an on-call rotation as required, able to travel between facilities. Maintains professional communication at all times. Ensures accountability through timely follow-through and escalation as required. Performs other required duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Continuing education in a related field of study.
  • General desktop support technician (e.g. A+ certification)
