About The Position

Supporting the AN/SQQ-89(V) Surface Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Combat System provides integrated Undersea Warfare (USW) combat management, fire control, command and control, and onboard training to enable surface combatants to support engagement of USW targets in both open ocean and littoral environments. The AN/SQQ-89(V) provides surface warships with a seamlessly integrated USW/ASW detection, localization, classification and targeting capability. The system presents an integrated picture of the acoustic tactical situation by receiving, combining and processing active and passive sonar sensor data from a variety of hull-mounted arrays, towed arrays, and sonobuoys.

Requirements

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within 12 months
• High school diploma, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate or GED equivalent
• Ten years of documented experience in managing technical teams executing intermediate and/or depot maintenance on Navy C4I systems and/or acoustic intelligence gathering systems
• Ten years of experience managing personnel
• Five years of experience in the maintenance and repair of SURTASS C4I systems, SURTASS processing systems, and SURTASS arrays (active and passive)
• Documented experience in manpower planning, scheduling, qualification programs, and training programs

Nice To Haves

• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Associate's degree in Resource Management, Information Systems Management, or equivalent, or be a graduate of US Navy Electronics or Information Systems 'C' School or an equivalent civilian school; Bachelor's Degree is desired
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification
