About The Position

KioSoft Technologies LLC (“KioSoft”) is a growing hardware/software company providing turnkey custom solutions for the Commercial Laundry, Vending, and other unattended Payment Industries. KioSoft has operations in the United States, Canada, China, Korea, and authorized dealers worldwide. The company's strength lies in its ability to provide a comprehensive blend of superior technology and customized software solutions. These range from the most basic machine interfaces to custom applications to branding to complex networking solutions. The Technician possesses entry-level technical knowledge and expertise in relation to the configuration, deployment, testing, and commissioning unattended payment solutions. Technicians deploy the solutions, products and services provided by the organization in line with the relevant industry, client, and organizational standards and in accordance with site specific project plans and documentation. Senior technicians will also undertake mentoring, coaching and supervisory activities in relation less experienced technical personnel on site, to ensure that their work is also delivered to the highest standard. Technicians ensure that client solutions maintain operational continuity through high-level fault, support, and monitoring activities in line with organizational and contractual service level agreements.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Drivers License (Required)
  • Willing to travel at least 40-60% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Effectively and independently take on tasks/work inside multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Installing and configuring systems.
  • Document procedures and processes.
  • Manage technical aspect of new product rollouts.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to colleagues requiring assistance with equipment, hardware or service configurations and functionality.
  • Liaise directly with customers or prospective customers when required.
  • Assist in verifying the technical and functional accuracy of proposals, tenders, and quotations as needed.
  • Configure, pre-build and test hardware equipment and services prior to installation at customer premises when required.
  • Have an advanced understanding of how company equipment, hardware and services work and be equipped to handle disruptions of service.
  • Assess situations, solve problems, and apply solutions in an adequate time scale.
  • Carry out work with an understanding of circuitry, installation, and in accordance with the relevant safe working practices.
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
  • Complete required training for the post and strive to meet development objectives.
  • Maintain any technical or professional qualifications required for the post if applicable.
  • Perform any other or additional duties as dictated by the needs of the business.
