About The Position

This position entails overseeing operational activities across multiple sites within a designated region, managing teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving performance improvements. The Field supervisor will serve as a critical liaison between regional teams and upper management. This full-time role requires extensive travel at times. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Oversee and mentor operations staff across the region, fostering professional development. Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Ensure the team exemplifies safety leadership by adhering to safety protocols. Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Promote best practices and process enhancements to improve productivity. Manage resource allocation and inventory effectively. Compliance and Safety: Uphold compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Perform routine audits and inspections to ensure operational integrity. Address safety concerns and incidents promptly and thoroughly. Project Management: Lead regional projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgetary constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill operational objectives. Assess project outcomes and recommend improvements for future initiatives. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Utilize data analysis to inform decision-making and enhance performance. Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management regarding regional operations. Communication and Coordination: Act as a key point of contact between regional teams and corporate leadership, facilitating effective communication. Address operational challenges swiftly to ensure smooth operations. Build and maintain relationships with clients and field staff, ensuring proactive communication regarding job status. Client and Project Interaction: Supervise assigned Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure successful contract execution. Review and verify customer documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Conduct job site audits and provide necessary on-site training, including safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, particularly in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, best practices, and safety regulations.
  • Experience in pesticide application is required; relevant licensure preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
