About The Position

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is looking for a safety-focused Field Supervisor / Welding Operations to join our dynamic team. The position involves supervising crate and cage repair processes, managing department inventory, and ensuring safety as the first priority in all work performed. The Field Supervisor will lead and direct Field Service Technicians and Driver/Operators, distribute daily workloads, and ensure compliance with company and federally required policies. Responsibilities also include coaching and training employees, completing electronic Work Audit Observations, ensuring accurate job ticket input, and maintaining professional interactions with customers.

Requirements

• A driver's license and a clean driving record are strongly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic.
• Must be able to work varied hours and on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and substance abuse screening.
• Use of respirators may be required based on specific customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crate and cage repair processes.
• Manage department inventory.
• Maintain Safety as the First Priority in all work performed.
• Supervise, lead and direct Field Service Technicians and Driver/Operators.
• Distribute daily workload to team members in an equitable manner.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and federally required policies/procedures.
• Coach, train, and correct employees for safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Complete weekly electronic Work Audit Observations and provide feedback.
• Ensure accurate input of daily job tickets into the mobile tablet system.
• Complete or direct on-site paperwork for the company and customer.
• Interact professionally with on-site customers and vendor representatives.
• Perform other work as assigned.
