About The Position

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Field Supervisor - Team Lead for our client to mentor, support, and lead multiple field teams working on data collection and mapping projects across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. This is a people-first leadership role focused on coaching teams, reinforcing accountability, and removing obstacles so crews can perform at their best. You’ll spend at least 50% of your time in the field, traveling throughout the region to support teams in person while also providing remote guidance between deployments.

Requirements

Proven experience leading or mentoring field-based teams
Strong people skills — approachable, calm, and motivating
Ability to hold teams accountable while supporting their success
Comfort working with entry-level and early-career team members
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within OR, WA, and ID
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks
Professional presence and team-first mindset

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, utilities, data collection, or field services
Military or veteran leadership background
Experience training, coaching, or developing teams

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor multiple field teams throughout project lifecycles
Serve as the main point of support, motivation, and accountability for crews
Conduct pre-deployment briefings and ensure teams clearly understand expectations
Spend time in the field reinforcing safety, quality, and morale
Provide daily coaching and problem-solving support (remote and onsite)
Monitor progress, quality, and compliance; escalate issues when needed
Review quality feedback and coach teams to improve performance
Support logistics such as travel coordination, reporting, and site notifications
Ensure smooth project closeouts and safe team returns
