About The Position

Jack Laurie Group is hiring a Field Superintendent with commercial flooring experience to lead jobsite operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
This role requires a hands-on leader who is experienced in commercial flooring installation, comfortable using technology and project management tools, and skilled in managing both hourly employees and subcontractors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commercial flooring or construction supervision
• Strong background in commercial flooring (carpet, tile, LVT, etc.)
• Proven experience managing field crews and subcontractors
• Comfortable with technology (tablets, mobile apps, project management software)
• Ability to read plans, specs, and construction drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Field Manager
• OSHA knowledge or safety training
• Experience with construction scheduling software

Responsibilities

• Supervise commercial flooring installation projects from start to finish
• Manage and lead field crews, hourly employees, and subcontractors
• Coordinate schedules, materials, and jobsite logistics
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements
• Use technology and software for reporting, scheduling, and communication
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Conduct site inspections and resolve field issues quickly
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and internal teams
