About The Position

At Diverzify+ and our Family of Brands, our Field Superintendent is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, managing job site activities and field labor scheduling, and overseeing personnel performance. They support sales by assessing existing conditions, providing accurate production rates, and identifying cost impacts before projects begin. The ISM must excel in customer communication, financial management, and business development to maximize efficiency and profitability while addressing customer concerns effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Flooring Installation experience is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Superintendent.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • 5+ years of experience of demonstrated experience, and knowledge of the products in the floor covering industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in mathematics, specifically fractions, measurements, and reading a ruler.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written reports and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to visually recognize conformance and nonconformance of flooring products.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficient in using computer software to manage workload, punch lists, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • First Aid - CPR.
  • All Terrain Forklift Certification.
  • OSHA 30 training Certification Preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Business Management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with integrity to foster teamwork, quality, and communication.
  • Train and develop installers on company standards and enforce policies.
  • Manage customer relationships, contract compliance, and cost control.
  • Conduct pre-mobilization checks, coordinate on-site activities, and report non-compliance.
  • Problem-solve to ensure installation efficiency and minimal punch list items.
  • Staff projects based on installer skills and review plans for material staging and deliveries.
  • Identify out-of-scope work and manage change orders with customers.
  • Assist PM with cost tracking, change orders, installer hours, and complaint resolution.
  • Act as liaison with daily site reports and complete safety audits.
  • Track project timelines, address slippage, and communicate changes promptly.
  • Support sales estimating and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
