About The Position

Chevron Shale & Tight Business - Colorado Region Group is accepting online applications for the position of Field Specialist B located in Greeley, Colorado, through February 26th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time). This position assumes the responsibility of monitoring and optimizing all production process variables, ensuring that all production equipment is operating at peak reliability and efficiency, and acquiring and storing data. The successful candidate will be working on a 8/6 schedule. Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to: Complete all AVO, ECD, quarterly underground flare line blowouts, and monthly bradenhead pressure readings o Complete documentation of all inspections while on location Submit regulatory & operational findings in Joyn for the IOC & Base Field Specialists to prioritize and execute (e.g. stain mitigation, signage, weeds, maintenance issues, trash, dump valve repair, stuffing box replacement, etc.) Responsible for proper maintenance & use of required PPE Check with others on your team before leaving the field at the end of the day Actively participate in morning meetings Communicate when 1st daily inspection has been completed Communicate any barriers to completing daily inspections to supervisor

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year current related experience in oil and gas, or related petrochemical industries.
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends and holidays of assigned work schedule and overtime based on workload.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a safety record.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with reliability efforts for a variety of safety, environmental and production-related issues.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance of production and facility equipment.
  • Familiar with pneumatic/electronic instrumentation.
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), CMMS, SCADA, and an aptitude for learning new software packages
  • Capable of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team of coworkers, contractors, and internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, and work with minimal supervision.
