About The Position

OPS IQ is seeking a highly driven, execution focused Field Solutions & Customer Success Specialist to serve as the on site extension of our digital solutions team. This individual will travel to customer locations, help implement and support OPS IQ systems, and ensure that no opportunity, commitment, or detail falls through the cracks.This role blends customer success, technical installation, field troubleshooting, and consultative sales. The ideal candidate thrives in industrial environments, communicates clearly and consistently, and takes full ownership of follow through from first conversation to final deliverable. This is a high responsibility position for someone who understands that execution, responsiveness, and communication are what build long term trust.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills and consistent follow through
  • Strong external and internal customer service mindset
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects without losing details
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively, often on short notice
  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude
  • Familiarity with sensors, PLCs, networking, or industrial controls
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our insurance company
  • Understanding of IIoT, monitoring systems, or predictive maintenance technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mining, aggregate, or heavy industrial environments
  • Previous field service or technical sales experience
  • MSHA certification

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to introduce, demonstrate, and clearly explain the power and value of OPS IQ systems
  • Help customers understand how real time monitoring, sensors, and digital solutions drive uptime and operational performance
  • Identify expansion opportunities and communicate them back to leadership
  • Represent OPS IQ professionally in meetings, job walks, and strategy discussions
  • Deliver clear post visit follow up including written summaries, action items, commitments, and next steps
  • Install sensors and monitoring hardware in industrial environments
  • Coordinate closely with site personnel during system setup
  • Troubleshoot sensors, routers, and connectivity issues
  • Validate data flow from field device to platform
  • Ensure accurate documentation of installed equipment and configurations
  • Maintain strong external customer service through proactive updates and responsiveness
  • Maintain strong internal communication by ensuring all relevant information from site visits is relayed to the coordinator and leadership
  • Track open items and drive them to completion without being prompted
  • Pick up projects mid stream and move them forward efficiently
  • Ensure no commitments made on site go unaddressed
