About The Position

As a Field Software Test Engineer, you will be the bridge between software development and real-world equipment performance. This role combines technical software testing with hands-on field work, ensuring our monitoring and control systems meet high standards of reliability and usability. You will support product verification not only in the lab but also on machines in the field, assist with new product installations, provide field support, and communicate directly with customers. A passion for technology, problem-solving, and delivering excellent product experiences is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience in testing or supporting software/electronic systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic field environments.
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience testing electronic, display, or control systems for agricultural equipment, automotive, mining, or telematics.
• Background in agriculture or agriculture-related industries.
• Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills.
• Experience with both lab-based and field-based product testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute software and system testing both in lab and field environments to verify product functionality, software releases, bug fixes, and enhancements.
• Document results of testing and work closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Support the creation of test strategies and manual test cases for unit, functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
• Provide on-site support for new product installs, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with customers and field service teams to replicate and resolve real-world issues.
• Communicate findings clearly with software, hardware, and product teams to drive product improvements.
• Exercise judgment within established procedures while adapting to unique field scenarios.
