About The Position

The Field Marketing Manager is a critical member of the Omni-Channel Marketing team, leveraging creativity, insights, and strategy to deliver unique and memorable brand moments. This role bridges physical and digital experiences, ensuring consumers and retail partners engage with Boar’s Head’s premium products and immersive brand experiences. The Field Shopper Marketing Manager drives strategic initiatives, oversees in-store marketing innovation, and collaborates cross-functionally to support growth and lasting customer relationships. This position requires a minimum of 50% travel.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in CPG, retailer, or field marketing, preferably with deli or grocery experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in brand development, in-store marketing, and product marketing from concept to commercialization.
  • Experience developing new and innovative programs while helping implement these programs in-store.
  • Up to 50% or more travel required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the company.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The ability to form superior design concepts and execute them flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of national, regional, and retailer-specific in-store marketing programs, with a focus on test-and-learn projects and visual merchandising excellence.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize field marketing initiatives to achieve key business objectives and drive brand growth at the store level.
  • Create, update, and distribute retail playbooks to ensure consistent and effective execution of marketing programs across locations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Innovation teams as well as cross-functional partners to implement and monitor in-store marketing pilots and innovation programs at select flagship grocery locations.
  • Conduct regular field visits and audits to ensure flawless execution of visual merchandising standards and adherence to Boar’s Head quality and brand guidelines.
  • Deliver training to retail partners and store operators on Boar’s Head marketing programs, merchandising standards, and brand policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, local purveyors, and internal teams to bring in-store marketing initiatives to life.
  • Stay current on industry trends, consumer insights, and best practices in retail, grocery, foodservice, and CPG marketing.
  • Attend and represent Boar’s Head at key retailer, sales and Local Purveyor meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
