About The Position

As a Field Service Technician at Ironclad Environmental Solutions, you will play a vital role in servicing, repairing, and delivering rental equipment to customer locations. This role involves working in the field to ensure that our containment solutions are installed and maintained to the highest standards. You will also assist with inventory control and equipment management at our facilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or inventory control
• Mechanical aptitude required; experience with pump systems is a plus
• Welding experience preferred
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the last 3 years
• Experience in the rental/pump industry preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment with varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, service, and repair of rental equipment, ensuring all units meet operational standards before and after use.
• Deliver and/or pick up berms and other equipment from customer locations, ensuring proper setup and disassembly as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is properly serviced and repaired prior to being released for rental.
• Assist with inventory control, including coordinating cycle counts and evaluating discrepancies.
• Complete all necessary equipment check sheets and work orders, ensuring all parts, labor, and other expenses are accurately recorded.
• Operate a forklift as required to move equipment and supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients during installations and pickups.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Other duties as assigned.
