About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking a Field Services Supervisor to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Field Services Supervisor will be responsible for planning, scheduling and organizing field crews engaged in providing Cathodic Protection (CP) Construction, part of the Corrosion Services Service Line, support services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 4 years performing various types of field services; 8+ years services preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
  • Prior experience managing cathodic protection construction projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products required.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to and preparing proposals for services to clients. This includes proposals for field technical support, inspection and construction services.
  • Interact with business development staff and client to setup new projects, including defining scope of work with client, billable rate approvals, system input of project parameters, and site setup including equipment, facilities, materials and staff.
  • Select appropriate staff to assign to project in accordance with project scope and necessary skill set to execute projects.
  • Conduct initial project kickoff meetings with project staff to review scope of project, and manage any changes in staffing needs during the course of project.
  • Handle administrative tasks for project staff, such as accurate recording of hours worked and timesheet submission, scheduling issues, and basic pay questions.
  • Monitor multiple project teams/projects simultaneously.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client regarding questions or issues related to project staff and project scope of work.
  • Prepare management reporting regarding headcounts, safety issues, project completion/timelines, and budgets to purchase order reconciliation.
  • May visit job sites and monitor staff at site locations.
  • Responsible for hiring staff, recruiting and retention, performance evaluations, salary decisions and resolving routine grievances and complaints; may initiate disciplinary actions.
  • Provides advice and assistance on work techniques, best practices, and subject matter expertise to co‐workers and subordinates.
  • Comply with all company and client operator qualification, health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) standards as well as federal and local HSSE regulations.
  • Actively participate in company and client hazard identification and observation programs, and immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or incidents to your supervisor.
  • Monitor and ensure safe working conditions for your staff, and ensure all direct reports receive required safety training to perform their tasks in a safe manner.
  • Ensure all reportable occupational incidents are reported in a timely manner and provide assistance in the completion of any investigations, including implementing corrective actions.
