About The Position

The Field Services Specialist is the on-the-ground expert responsible for driving successful adoption and daily operational execution of active customer job sites. This role embeds directly within customer environments—often for multi-week rotations—to ensure workflows are followed correctly, contractors are trained and supported, data remains accurate, and issues are resolved quickly before they become project risks. This position requires frequent travel and on-site presence for up to two consecutive weeks at a time, depending on project needs.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in field operations, construction technology, commissioning, industrial QC, or related technical roles.
  • Experience working directly with contractors or craft labor strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority in high-pressure or fast-paced environments.
  • Effective troubleshooting abilities with mobile devices, tools, and software workflows.
  • Comfortable interpreting technical workflows and QC/QA standards.
  • Adaptable to varying customer environments, personalities, and job site cultures.
  • Ability to travel 50–75%, including up to two consecutive weeks on-site per assignment.
  • Ability to work in active industrial or construction environments; PPE-compliant.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all customer-required site compliance checks, including drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet customer access requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Embed directly with customer teams to ensure consistent, correct usage of workflows.
  • Shadow installers, electricians, and QC personnel to reinforce proper usage and prevent deviations.
  • Observe real-time activity and provide immediate coaching or retraining as needed.
  • Maintain a visible, engaged presence in daily job site operations.
  • Deliver structured training to installers, foremen, QC managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Adapt training style to varying skill levels, languages, and trade backgrounds.
  • Conduct refresher or replacement training when new crews arrive or workflows change.
  • Maintain training attendance records and ensure workforce readiness.
  • Perform daily audits of workflow completion, torque verification accuracy, and QC sign-offs.
  • Identify gaps in data integrity and partner with crews to correct root causes.
  • Monitor device performance, tool calibration status, and user attribution data.
  • Maintain and update job site compliance dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot device pairing, connectivity, application usability, and credential issues.
  • Document field issues in the FS Issue Register with clear reproduction steps.
  • Escalate workflow design concerns or complex issues to Deployment Engineering or PMs.
  • Reduce support burden on engineering teams through proactive problem-solving.
  • Participate in daily foreman meetings, site huddles, and weekly project steering sessions.
  • Provide insights on contractor adoption, project risks, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for site leadership regarding workflow expectations and best practices.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers to maintain schedule alignment and mitigate risks.
