Field Services Representative I Installed Support

About the position

The purpose of this position is to address construction service and product issues at the customer's site to ensure that customer complaints regarding quality and reliability are resolved efficiently and cost-effectively. The role involves investigating the condition of company building workmanship and products at all stages of construction based on customer concerns, and reporting findings back to the Customer Service team.

Responsibilities

• Investigates/examines the condition of company building workmanship and products on the customer's site at all stages of construction based on concerns raised by the customer; reports back to the Customer Service team on findings.
• Recommends replacement or repair of defective products based on customer service guidelines related to efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Replace any defective materials, including glass, sashes, panels, and hardware.
• Plans and paces own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
• Install screens and hardware, and adjust units to ensure proper operation.
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This position is considered entry level with on-the-job training available.
