About The Position

Serves as first point of contact for the Missionary Department with assigned mission presidents to assist in resolving missionaries' personal problems (including serious illness, accidents, other health issues, disobedience, transgression, emergencies) and meeting other immediate needs in the missions. Interacts continually with mission presidents, missionaries, Area Presidencies, headquarters General Authorities (including the Missionary Department Executive Directors and the Missionary Executive Council), Missionary Department management; other headquarters departments (including Office of General Counsel, LDS Family Services, Church Security, Church Travel, and Public Affairs), MTC presidents, missionaries' families, and stake presidents and bishops.
