Role Summary As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll support branch and corporate teams in resolving medium level problems and situations with hardware installation, configuration, maintenance, and software support services.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Servicing, Network Servicing, or Electromechanical Technology.
  • 2+ years troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and multifunction devices.
  • Experience with IP telephone installation, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and network cabling (Cat5e–Cat6).
  • Reliable transportation and valid ability to drive by start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Technical Writing.
  • 4+ years experience with advanced hardware repair, Cisco network hardware, Apple hardware, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to service HP, Data Card, and Lexmark devices (certifications required within 1 year).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site hardware repair services, using company tools and parts to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops and related equipment for colleagues across the organization.
  • Diagnose and resolve computer, network, and IP telephone connectivity issues, partnering with IT teams when needed.
  • Manage installation, relocation, and removal requests by assessing site feasibility, confirming requirements, and recommending next steps.
  • Create and maintain procedures, job aids, and documentation for Field Engineering hardware and processes.
  • Lead or support installation and relocation projects for new and existing technologies, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inventory audits to maintain equipment reliability and system accuracy.
  • Provide A/V and technical setup for Executive Team events and key business presentations.
