Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or field service experience.
Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain CDL; willingness to travel across the U.S. (and abroad if needed).
Ability to access power plants, substations, and industrial sites; able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Strong teamwork, time management, detail orientation, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with computers, technical documentation, and communicating results clearly to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Perform on‑site transformer inspections, component preparation, and core/coil jacking when required.
Execute installations, including cable terminations, crimping, brazing, bus‑work fabrication, and hand‑taping.
Carry out vacuum processing, hot‑oil procedures, pressure testing, oil sampling, and shipment preparation.
Conduct electrical testing (Doble, SFRA, bushing tests, TTR, Megger, winding resistance, CT tests, alarm checks).
Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, document results, and communicate findings to customers and engineers.
Ensure all work aligns with manufacturing standards while maintaining clean, organized, and safe equipment and work areas.
