Requirements

3–5 years of experience in HVAC, controls, or electro-mechanical work.
Working knowledge of heat pumps, HVAC systems, and building automation.
Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics.
Comfort with diagnostic software, control interfaces, and field instruments.
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to various job sites.
Strong communication skills and a professional presence.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and work in mechanical spaces.
Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform service and preventive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC equipment.
Conduct detailed electro-mechanical inspections and maintain system reliability.
Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues with accuracy and confidence.
Complete clear, timely service reports with parts used and system findings.
Ensure all service documentation is updated daily within CTI’s systems.
Commission, configure, and program control hardware and software.
Review system data, alarms, and trends to identify performance opportunities.
Update firmware, device parameters, and control configurations as needed.
Assist technicians with advanced troubleshooting and system optimization.
Deliver professional on-site and remote support with a customer-first mindset.
Clearly communicate system status, recommendations, and next steps.
Build strong customer relationships through reliable follow-through and quality service.
