Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, controls, or electro-mechanical work.
  • Working knowledge of heat pumps, HVAC systems, and building automation.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics.
  • Comfort with diagnostic software, control interfaces, and field instruments.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional presence.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and work in mechanical spaces.
  • Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service and preventive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC equipment.
  • Conduct detailed electro-mechanical inspections and maintain system reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues with accuracy and confidence.
  • Complete clear, timely service reports with parts used and system findings.
  • Ensure all service documentation is updated daily within CTI’s systems.
  • Commission, configure, and program control hardware and software.
  • Review system data, alarms, and trends to identify performance opportunities.
  • Update firmware, device parameters, and control configurations as needed.
  • Assist technicians with advanced troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Deliver professional on-site and remote support with a customer-first mindset.
  • Clearly communicate system status, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Build strong customer relationships through reliable follow-through and quality service.
