  • Diagnose and resolve issues with automation equipment and disconnect switches to ensure uninterrupted operation and maximum efficiency.
  • Schedule and deliver timely emergency technical support and field service on an on-call basis, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Provide comprehensive installation support and training for automation equipment and disconnect switches, both onsite and in a classroom setting, to ensure proper setup and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, evaluations, and testing of electrical and mechanical Cleaveland/Price system products to assess operational status, functionality, and repair needs.
  • Offer expert technical sales support to internal and external customers for automation equipment and disconnect switches, utilizing various communication channels including email, telephone, Teams meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair automation equipment at the board and software level, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Identify product failures and collaborate with other Cleaveland/Price departments to develop and implement effective product improvement solutions, contributing to continuous enhancement and innovation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including RMA requests, quality feedback, field service trip reports, and expense reports, using tools such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding drawings and electrical diagrams to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Occasional local travel within Southern California and customer support outside of the region may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Associate in electrical, electronics or technical electrical field.
  • 7 years' experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic products and technical electrical systems.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of mechanical and electronic test equipment.
  • Understanding of the electrical utility industry, including knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to automation equipment and disconnect switches.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers of all levels in a professional manner.
