About The Position

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician in Boston MA. This is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with a rapidly growing company with nationwide locations that invests heavily in its workforce. There is unlimited room for career growth through on-site, factory-approved, computer-based, and classroom training (to include training on forklift repair, if you can bring a solid Mechanical background to the table!). The role is 90% in the field with real-time troubleshooting - local travel only, home nightly.

Requirements

• Must have at least 4 years of US Military experience (Mechanical/Electrical MOS required).
• Strong knowledge of machine diagnostics, schematics, and technical drawings required.
• Personable and professional demeanor, excellent customer service acumen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Availability to work overtime, including occasional emergency service or weekend callouts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of industrial equipment.
• Perform maintenance on newer battery-powered equipment, as well as traditional diesel and gasoline industrial machinery.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals related to forklifts and other various construction equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections; address any issues as needed.
• Communicate repair needs, provide estimates, and explain completed work to customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensure satisfaction and work with professionalism at all times.
• Maintain a clean and professional service van; report maintenance needs promptly.

Benefits

• $26.00-34.00/hour base compensation (+ OT, company vehicle + gas card, $2,500 interest-free tool loan.)
