Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of experience, or associate degree plus 5 years of experience in a related field service, electronics, technical, etc., or In lieu of degree, 5-7 years field service experience.
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to read and comprehend material written in English.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willing to travel (locally and abroad)
  • Overtime may be required at times.
  • May require working some holidays and weekends
  • Required have own vehicle.
  • Fixed Monthly Car Allowance: $600.00
  • Fixed Monthly Cellphone Allowance: $50.00
  • Available for 1st shift

Responsibilities

  • Candidates will be responsible for covering nearby regions and traveling across different areas of the island, visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Puerto Rico
  • As part of their duties, they will inspect, evaluate, and service infusion pumps, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with established quality and safety standards.
  • Installs, checks out, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment.
  • Provides guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
  • Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action.
  • Advice and assists in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation.
  • Devises and implements preventive maintenance programs and keeps performance and maintenance records on equipment.
  • Participates in installation planning phase.
  • Assists technologists and/or management in evaluation of device problems, procedural issues, and documentation and quality issues.
  • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies, and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
  • Schedules service calls with customers in accordance with current procedures published by national and regional management
  • Repair devices in accordance with specific documents or SOP’s and complete necessary service documentation.
  • Performs tests/diagnoses of systems.
  • Identifies and implements corrective actions on processes and non-conformance issues covered by documentation in accordance with Quality/Regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts all roles and responsibilities with the ethics and compliance platform.
  • Perform other duties as required
