We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Field Service Technician to join our team. This position supports the installation, service, and maintenance of products at customer sites and job locations. You will work closely with senior technicians, assist in service operations, and maintain a clean and organized workspace and vehicle. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Some experience with manual labor- similar to windows & doors
  • Some working knowledge of door & windows.
  • Ability to use computer and other office equipment and software to e-mail or fax correspondence and complete on-line training as required. Must be able to log information in a computer database.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft products such as Outlook and Windows.
  • Knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with job site tasks, including lifting, carrying, and managing parts and tools.
  • Pick up and deliver parts between the plant, warehouse, and job sites as directed.
  • Clean installed products at customer locations and ensure job sites are restored to original condition.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively during service work.
  • Collaborate with other Field Service Technicians on multi-person projects.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including observations and actions, using digital devices.
  • Submit completed service reports promptly through company service software.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces, service vehicles, and ensure vehicle upkeep.
  • Manage parts inventory in both warehouse and service vehicle; inspect and document all incoming parts.
  • Identify and reject parts that do not meet quality standards and coordinate reordering through service software.
