Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a technician repairing and maintaining construction equipment (Komatsu equipment experience a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems with the ability to read schematics/diagrams
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and advanced repair techniques
  • A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and demonstrates teamwork in a collaborative environment
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ownership of appropriate tools for the trade
  • Valid driver’s license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and ability to pass background, drug, DOT physical, and MVR checks
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Able to carry and lift up to 60lbs
  • Occasional travel to customer sites and for training; overnight stays may be required
  • Experience driving a class 4 vehicle or towing

  • Komatsu equipment experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment on customer sites
  • Diagnose issues using the latest tools and apply independent judgement to solve complex problems
  • Accurately document services provided, including time and parts/materials used
  • Meet time guidelines and maintain efficiency levels
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every piece of equipment is ready to perform safely and effectively
