The Field Technician’s primary focus of responsibility is to properly train, observe and oversee our client’s contractors in the processes of installing Zap-Lok pipelines. The Field Technician will need to be capable of occasional heavy lifting, working in various harsh weather climates, traveling, and in some instances troubleshoot and repair the Zap-Lok equipment used in our installation process. The Field Technician will travel to various pipeline installation projects, domestic and international. The Field Technician will remain on site until job is complete, working the same hours as the contractor. When the Field Technician is not performing pipeline installation duties, they will be working at our Houston facility/home base. While there, the Field Technician will assist in preparing pipe for field installation, otherwise referred to as Zap-Lok End Preparation. They will also work with our mechanics in performing maintenance and repairs to the Zap-Lok equipment.
