About The Position

The Field Service Technician at P B Hoidale Co Inc will be responsible for a broad range of maintenance and installation duties associated with petroleum handling equipment and accessories. Serving as a technical expert, they will carry out troubleshooting, repair, installation, and customer service duties in the field, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout each interaction.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a field service technician, preferably within the petroleum industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrable knowledge of maintenance techniques and practices, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts, as well as the aptitude to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and the ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, maintain, and troubleshoot petroleum handling equipment and related accessories, ensuring they comply with company standards and established safety protocols.
• Provide reliable and effective customer service, addressing client needs promptly and professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with services provided.
• Document maintenance, repair, and installation activities accurately and in detail, providing reports to management for review as required.
• Coordinate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks and projects.
• Stay current with product and industry knowledge, and apply new learning to work practices as necessary.
• Comply with all company policies and standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
