About The Position

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide on-site technical support to diagnose and resolve equipment issues Commission, start up, and perform operational checkouts of newly installed systems. Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems. Consult with customers regarding installation and operational concerns. Conduct equipment acceptance testing. Maintain detailed service reports and documentation. Diagnoses mechanical and hydraulic failures with minimal supervision. Provides customer training as required. Comply with all NOV Company Policies and HSE requirements. Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience, preferably in oil and gas
  • Experience using hand tools, torque wrenches, and power drills required.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft office suite and ability to learn other necessary applications.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and medical examinations screenings.
  • Must be able to pass a 3-year driving history background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and an ability to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Must possess professional, clear, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel and work overtime during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions for up to 12 hours daily.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
