About The Position

The Field Service Technician a liaison between Shaffer and their assigned locations/customers responsible for customer relations, and equipment installs and repairs. Our customers vary from bars and clubs to restaurants and bowling alleys. At Shaffer, our technicians enjoy a strong camaraderie and take immense pride in their work. What will your day look like as a Service Technician? Drive company owned vehicle to assigned customer locations on a designated route. Interact with customers and other employees in a professional and courteous manner Count and deposit money, entering meter readings and the proper information into coin software. Fill and maintain all ATM’S on route. Installation and repair of entertainment, arcade and amusement equipment Install TVs, monitors, digital jukeboxes, A/V and sound systems. Troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on existing equipment Work hours are 8am-4:30pm, Tues-Fri and then Saturday from 12pm-8pm. Why Shaffer Entertainment? Requirements

  • Interact and build rapport with customers
  • Able to do math/count money
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Record are essential.
  • Must be at least 21 years old (some of our customers have age restricted entry)
  • Organized and Punctual
  • Lifting an average of 50 pounds
  • Able to use hand tools
  • Capable of crawling in confined spaces like ceilings and attics
  • Climbing ladders
  • Unloading equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior field service experience desired
