About The Position

This position is based in Florida. The field service technician travels throughout the state of Florida and beyond when needed. Kolbe Service Technicians enjoy a company vehicle and company provided tools, uniforms, technology, a cell phone, and a credit card to pay for meals and costs incurred while traveling.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work 30 feet above the ground.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and over time.
• Travel: 50 percent.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites and efficiently diagnose and repair Kolbe window and door products.
• Work without supervision.
• Schedule appointments.
• Maintain all inventory of company provided materials and determine parts needed for appointment.
• Complete required paperwork for each job and record all expenses.
• Perform maintenance of vehicle and hand tools.
