Horizon Systems is looking for a dependable and skilled Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional on-site service and support for our engineered systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, hands-on work, and building strong customer relationships. The Role: Delivering On-Site Service and Technical Excellence As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site services including equipment startup, installation supervision, warranty support, and maintenance. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure systems are installed and operating to specification, while maintaining safety, quality, and professionalism. Your primary responsibilities include: Perform on-site troubleshooting, adjustments, and maintenance of equipment and systems Provide customer training and support during startup and service visits Complete daily service reports and communicate job status to internal teams Maintain accurate records of parts usage, time, and expenses Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and site-specific policies Maintain field service vehicles, tools, and safety certifications Collaborate with project managers and engineering to resolve service issues Travel extensively (50%+), including evenings and weekends as needed Core Competencies Success in this role requires a blend of mechanical aptitude, customer service, and adaptability.
