• Networking skills needed but not an engineer. Network experience is very helpful but need a jack of all trades. Related to the IT / OT piece they will be working with controls people to help them understand better and work with network team to help with the build out. • This is still a Field Support Technician role but needs the person to understand networking • OT (Operational Technology) = Manufacturing, PLC’s and manufacturing equipment connects to network and connects to IT side • Need manufacturing experience • Understand vLans, ip addressing, firewall rules, etc. (understanding but not actually configuring) • Someone who has a net+ cert would be good. • Top 3 technical skills: Windows / Desktops, Networking, Customer service • Will need their own steel toe shoes/boots. • Work hours 6 – 5 (they will shuffle as needed) - 2nd shift kicks off at 4pm and they want a little overlap • Someone with at least a few years of experience is fine • Understanding networking components and fundamentals. Dell contract handles the repairs of computers • Understand DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, lan segmentation, vlans, etc. • Zebra scanners controlled by MDM • Print server troubleshooting (network fundamentals) • Someone that is dynamic and pick up ball and run with it. • Get idea of issue and route to the right team
