About The Position

Nailor Industries, Inc. is an industry leading global manufacturer of commercial HVAC air distribution and control products. We are seeking a suitably qualified Field Service Technician to join our team. Field Service Technician: Service, Repair, Perform Diagnostic, Commission, start-up and Maintenance of our HVAC equipment including Rooftop Units and Hydronic Equipment in the U.S for Warranty issues and for Service request for Commercial applications. Must be able to travel by plane or car with no restrictions and hold a valid driver's license with no restrictions. Tech to be able to perform all types of work and have the ability to lift tools and heavy objects. Familiarity with HVAC customer service principles, good communication skills and provide word-based reports for Field jobs. When not traveling the tech will report to the Houston office to assist the Application Group. This position also works with manufacturing to support the production process while driving manufacturing initiatives to improve quality. You will also work on projects with Product Managers for upcoming jobs and be involved in the Engineering aspect of the design and manufacturing process. We just don’t manufacture boxes; we are an innovative custom design build company.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Fielding product application calls, pre-sale technical support.
Serve as first line of defense to diagnose potential field service and warranty issues.
Develop and administer action plans to remedy customer Field issues.
Interaction with order entry, customer service, sales, engineering, and manufacturing is required to review and process all special sales orders to ensure they are accurately documented prior to releasing to manufacturing.
