About the Role As part of our dynamic, growth-driven team, we’re seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install new equipment and perform maintenance and repair services for our customers. This role combines travel, technical expertise, and direct customer interaction, giving you the chance to help ensure Reiser’s equipment performs at its best, making a real difference in our customers' businesses. Candidates should live within a 1.5-hour commute of any major airport for easy access to our customers. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable with 60-80% travel during the week – mostly on in the southeast by automobile or plane.

Nice To Haves

  • Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills is an added bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Upon hire, you will enter the Reiser "FIRST" program that provides extensive training on our flagship product line(s).
  • Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
  • Spend approximately 60-80% of your time traveling within the southeast to visit food production facilities, helping customers optimize their equipment.
  • Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and effectively.
  • Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
