Field Service Technician
About The Position
TOMRA of North America is a leading International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company dedicated to sustainability and transforming technology to create intelligent tools for a sustainable future. The company is seeking a Field Service Technician in Taunton, Massachusetts. This role involves traveling to various retail customer locations to analyze, test, troubleshoot, repair, or rebuild the mechanical and electrical components of reverse vending machines. The technician will work independently while being supported by a team, and must possess strong customer service skills to interact with customers, consumers, and intercompany departments.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair or replace machine components (Mechanical)
- Ability to troubleshoot and replace electrical components
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical failures and faults
- Ability to use hands to assemble, disassemble and repair mechanical components
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently push/pull up to 150 lbs.
- Superb customer service and communication skills
- Proficient with laptops and Windows OS
- Excellent safety record at previous employers
- Valid Driver's License
