About The Position

Key Obsessions: Provide the Aagard experience Ensure the Aagard machine is the best machine in the plant. Deliver a user-friendly machine (operator’s favorite!). Conduct top-tier training. Deliver a superior customer experience that surpasses expectations. Successful new machine/retro builds ITS (Install, Test, and Support) Test and assemble machines, ensuring project success. Ensure concise and timely communication between Aagard and customers. Provide quality assurance for retrofit and warranty assemblies. Conduct quality audits on full machines. Customer Relations Build trust and maintain strong relationships by representing Aagard with professionalism and integrity. Serve as a highly skilled, solution-focused technician who customers enjoy working with. Identify and communicate retrofit opportunities that enhance machine performance and customer value. Conduct service contracts and provide ongoing support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Knowledge and Experience: Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Drafting, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field plus 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Ability to view and understand CAD drawings and experience with Microsoft products Understanding of mechanical and electrical principles Ability to seek training that is needed to be travel ready and have an interest in machine controls. Experience or training with PCs, Servos, PLCs preferred Knowledge of blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and use of correct terminology Ability to view and understand CAD drawings and experience with Microsoft products Strong customer service skills, conscientious of meeting and exceeding customer needs and specifications Ability to operate small hand tools, forklifts and the proper use of measuring instruments Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time, which may include any day of the week Must obtain and maintain a valid passport (cost reimbursed by Aagard) Must comply with applicable travel requirements, including receiving any vaccinations necessary for entry into certain countries (cost reimbursed by Aagard) Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb Benefits Offered: At Aagard, we believe in investing in you —your health, your career, your financial future, and your well-being. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Drafting, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field plus 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
