About The Position

The Vacancy Essential Job Responsibilities: Expeditiously, professionally, and efficiently repair, calibrate and maintain customer high voltage testers. This includes service performed at Megger facility as well as at customer sites Customer support via phone, email, and MS Teams. Additionally, support off-site service centers, provide diagnostics and pre-repair quotes Bring up, calibrate and final test equipment for delivery to external customers. Provide accurate calibration documentation to customer Interface with service manager to resolve customer needs Interface with sales department Repair defective parts and assemblies Interface with Engineering to resolve design or technical issues and provide input with new product design Condemn non-repairable parts and assemblies Identify defects in workmanship and correct errors Reliably deliver quality products and service to the customer with zero defects Implement ECOs as directed Return excess inventory after jobs are complete and alert affected departments of discrepancies on BOMs and create an ECO if needed Follow documented procedures per ISO standards Other duties as assigned Minimum Skills and Competencies: Associate’s degree in Electronics, or 2+ yrs. equivalent experience Fully competent and experienced in the use of electronic test equipment such as, but not limited to DMM’s, Oscilloscopes, high voltage probes, waveform generators Must be able and willing to travel to customer sites up to 50% time, some of which may be international Experience trouble shooting to component level and RoHS soldering experience Familiar with computer hardware and Microsoft OS and software, as well as Android OS Experience with high voltage components and safety protocols Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to lift 50 lbs Up-to-date knowledge of electronics, electronics theory and practice Ability to use and care for electronic equipment Good technical skills and an understanding of approved methods Effectively and independently schedule and prepare for service site visits. Requirements
