Attention to detail while in the field to spot mechanical defects Ability to use Electronics Test Equipment (Multimeter, RJ45 Cable Tester, Oscilloscope) Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Can create instructions documentation Strong customer service skills while on the phone / onsite Able to use some common mechanical tools (Wrenches, drill, and heavy-duty tools) Has the Ability to lift 50 lbs. in the field. Excellent Communication (Verbal and Written) Installation and Maintenance (Installing, configuring, and maintaining equipment onsite). Site Monitoring and reporting of mechanical failures of the system component. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues for all Machine Vision equipment in the Field. Keeping records of service calls (Jira Tickets), installations, and Maintenance Service repairs. Diagnosed and solved problems efficiently while on-site/ remote support Troubleshot and repaired mechanical and electrical components. Training the customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment. Performing Annual Maintenance Calibration (KinetiX Machine Vision Systems) Follow the railroad industry regulations and safety protocol while working on-site. Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance Minimum of 50% of travel requirement (international and domestic)
