The Field Service Technician holds complete accountability for the safe and successful completion and of corrective and routine maintenance of installation projects. This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance on biogas installations and diagnosing, analyzing, and rectifying product failures, ensuring optimal performance and uptime for our clients. It requires a combination of mechanical and electrical expertise, a highly flexible approach, and a willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of mechanical and electrical experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Heavy mechanical experience or experience building/rebuilding engines and/or compressors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to changing schedules.
  • You possess a diverse skill set tailored for success in dynamic environments.
  • Your strong organizational skills allow you to manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities amidst varying demands effectively.
  • Your adeptness in language and mathematical skills ensures clear communication and precise problem-solving abilities.
  • With a proactive and results-oriented approach, creative problem-solving, and analytical capabilities, you can thrive as a valuable team member, adeptly navigating challenges and driving successful outcomes in the field.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of biogas systems and related equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections on biogas equipment and systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Perform repairs and component replacements as necessary
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance visits and minimize downtime
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of service activities
  • Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving technical challenges related to bioenergy system operation and maintenance.
  • Verify hardware and software controls for optimal performance.
  • Participate in the 24/7 emergency support team to address critical safety or productivity issues.
