(NYSE:APD), a world-leading manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician for the Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and British Columbia Canada region. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for a career‑minded individual to work from their Seattle‑area home while leading service for customer installations within a defined territory. Field Service Technicians are provided a company truck and tools. Familiarity with gaseous and cryogenic piping systems, valves, tanks, and related equipment—particularly in oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and hydrogen service—is highly beneficial for candidates. An independent role with a wide service area offers a dynamic work environment. The individual must maintain high safety standards at customer sites and while operating a company vehicle. Because Field Service Technicians interact closely with customers, they must consistently demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a professional, confident, and calm demeanor.
