As a Field Service Technician, you’ll enter one of the most comprehensive technical development programs in the industry. Over your first 6–18 months, you’ll receive rigorous hands-on training in controlled environments, cleanroom performance testing, airflow dynamics, HEPA filtration, biosafety cabinetry, and industry regulations. After successfully completing year one, technicians are sponsored to earn NSF accreditation—nationally recognized validation of your expertise and technical competency. This role offers unmatched exposure across the biotech, med-tech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors. You’ll perform certification, performance testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical controlled-environment equipment directly at customer facilities—often partnering with several organizations in a single day. No two days, sites, or technical challenges are alike. Most importantly, technicians serve as the face of SSA. You’ll build trusted relationships with scientists, laboratory leaders, and facility teams, ensuring safety, compliance, uptime, and an exceptional customer experience. For individuals who take pride in precision, problem-solving, autonomy, and professionalism, this career offers continuous learning, growing responsibility, and a clear path to leadership within a rapidly expanding, employee-owned company.
