About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding Weiler equipment across dealer, customer, and Weiler facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Coordinate and perform machine rebuilds and repairs in a factory or dealer shop setting. Conduct field service work, collaborating with dealers and customers to identify and resolve issues. Record detailed documentation of all aspects of each visit. Interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation to support accurate repairs, consulting and collaborating with Engineering and Service when necessary. Provide feedback to Engineering, Production, Service, and Sales departments to drive continuous product improvements. Involve and educate dealer service personnel during repairs whenever possible. Travel up to 75% and maintain flexibility with schedule. Work in a safe manner at all times, following all safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with heavy equipment required.
  • Valid Drivers License, valid US Passport.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend documents and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to internal and external individuals and groups.
  • Ability to read technical instructions in diagram form, such as 2D prints, 3D models, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Proficient or ability to learn Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new computer software programs.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools typical of a mechanic or assembly setting.
  • Ability and knowledge in the areas of hydraulic and electrical systems, including troubleshooting.
  • Detail-oriented with proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate offroad equipment.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources.
  • Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships and encourage openness with customers and peers.
