About The Position

BAE Systems has a job opening for a Field Services Technician to assist with the repair of equipment and components at field locations and customer sites. The Field Services Technician provides routine to moderately complex support. Installs, operates, tests, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Must be proficient with a variety of MS Operating Systems: Win 11, Win 10, Win8, Win7. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel. About BAE Systems, Inc. Requirements

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years, or equivalent experience
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication skills: oral and written
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Adheres to standards as defined in Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office products including Lync, M365
  • Proficient with a variety of MS Operating Systems: Win 11, Win 10, Win8, Win7
  • Basic understanding of networks
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory
  • Good working knowledge of Exchange
