About The Position

ASGCO engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We are looking for Field Service / Conveyor Belt Technicians/Maintenance/Millwrights to install, service and repair conveyor belts and components, motors and who have experience on Industrial jobsites, including Aggregate, Asphalt, Bulk Shipping Terminals, Ready-mix, Quarries and other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants. We provide in-house training programs for advancement. Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Install new, change out, repair or splice conveyor belt Demonstrate proper safe use of handling of tools, equipment and materials Must be mechanically inclined Follows instructions under the leadership of the Crew Lead to ensure all aspects of the job are covered to avoid any time-consuming delays as well as hazard and/or task training that may be required before the task begins Ensures equipment is maintained in proper working order to avoid injury and work areas are kept clean/free of hazards which may endanger the health/safety of any employee Take part of our Conveyor Technician training programs for advancement Be willing and able to work a variety of schedules on-call, including dayshift, nightshift and weekends Comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook Working Conditions: Work is performed in various industrial settings and environments, including shop, mining, and construction which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles. While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see. Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) during the workday Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required. Requirements

1-3 years of experience in the material handling/ conveyor maintenance industry
High School Diploma or GED
Reliable transportation/ Active Driver's License
Very Hands-on mechanically
Millwright experience
Regular and punctual attendance
Ability to travel
Effective communication
Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
Job duties will be performed underground and on surface, those interested must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications, successfully complete industry approved training courses.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires
